Info on guitar:
This is a great sounding guitar hand crafted in Canada. This is the S & P 12 Spruce which has a solid spruce top. Back and sides are made from Wild Cherry. Simon & Patrick are part of the Godin family of guitars that also includes Seagull and the Art and Lutherie guitars. Here is some info from the Godin web site.
With a select pressure tested solid spruce top, the S & P 12 Spruce has a slightly brighter sounding quality than its cedar counterpart. Staying in tune isn't a problem either, with the added stability and support from innovations such as Simon & Patrick's Integrated Set Neck system, compound curve top, Adirondack spruce bracing, fully compensated saddle and double function truss rod.
