(Please Read. It's Worth Reading)
IMPORTANT MESSAGE: DISREGARD any telephone calls, text or emails, including any emails saying they're from (AdvertiseConnect.com) or All Web Classifieds Inc. or any other alike form of communication asking to re-enter or provide your credit card information. The only time your credit card, or any of your information is required is when you're initially posting a Paid Ad, or signing up for a Territory/Count License Agreement, once your Paid Ad is Posted and your Transaction is Successfully Completed,
(AdvertiseConnect.com) All Web Classifieds Inc. will never ask for any other form of additional information.
Reviews, Testimonials and Ratings,
(AdvertiseConnect.com) All Web Classifieds Inc. DOES NOT post Reviews, Testimonials or a number of Stars to Rate a Company, Service or Individual. Why, anyone can post anything, Good or Bad, including the online company that have the postings. In some instances, depending on how much money is spent on advertising Ads can earn a Good or Bad Review or Rating? (Including well known sites) Some of the most popular sites have excellent reviews and five stars, and you end up unsatisfied with terrible results. You can't always believe what's posted.
Information you should always know and Verify,
If a Company, Service or Individual is required to have a LICENSE for the Task, Business, Service or Position, always request a copy of their
ACTIVE State Issued License BEFORE starting ANYTHING and VERIFY with the State & County. Get References, at least (5 - 10) and call them, try to obtain
many detailed before and after photos of the task, etc. that have been performed.
Even better go view many of the completed results. Beware of references that may be family and friend references?
DO NOT start anything or give a deposit, down payment unless you get Payment Terms in Writing, Start and Completion Date, and ALL Details, including Small Details in Writing is essential, Beware of Companies or Individuals that ask for a substantial Down Payment, you may never see that Company, Individual and down payment ever again. Do not hesitate to ask questions and go with your gut feeling. Check with your local BBB, and do your homework, it's your hard-earned money being spent, it's worth the time, effort and results. Again, you can't always believe what's posted, anywhere, anytime, including other popular websites that say everyone and their services, business etc. are verified and highly rated.
Scams,
Beware of the many Scams, the Scammers are out preying on people every day, for some it's their full-time job, always deal locally if possible.
We recommend you do not accept payments from Western Union, Money Wire, Money Orders and Cashier Checks they maybe fake, if you are instructed
it most likely is a scam. If you need to pay for something, Product, Service Etc. ALWAYS USE A CREDIT CARD SO YOU CAN DISPUTE THE CHARGE.
Do not fall for the text message, email or phone call asking if your item, merchandise etc. is "available" and want you to follow some "code"
they give you saying they want to know if your ad is from a real person selling the merchandise etc. Or upon picking up the item or merchandise
they say they don't have all the cash and give you a check, money order etc. "Especially if they want to offer you additional money added to the
purchase" and it turns out to be a fake. Once your item is gone, it's gone and you will probably not see the item again, and the upaid money.
Including (I will send or give you a Check or Money Order for more money scam). Banks will cash the fake that looks real and when the fake is
discovered you may be held responsible, this may take several weeks to discover.
Email Scams,
If you receive an email from a person or organization that you can't seem to ignore, take the following precautions:
- Call that person or their office directly to confirm they actually sent the email.
- Check the "from" box at the top of the email. Scammers often have a legit title in the space before the "@", but a questionable title after the "@".
- Be especially wary of any email sent from a Gmail, Hotmail or other service that allows anyone to sign up for an email address.
- If you do receive a spam email, mark it as spam with your email service provider.
All Vehicles / Recreational Items,
Some things you should always purchase in person, Vehicles / Recreational items. We recommend never send any money to anyone posting an ad where you
can't physically see what you're purchasing, especially if they want you to send or pay with Gift Card(s), Money Orders, Wire or Cashier's Check.
Check the Vehicle Identification Number to see if it may have been tampered with. Purchase a Car Fax for its history, nothing is guaranteed, it
could possibly show you information that's important. You should avoid purchasing anything if the Title / Certificate is NOT in
the name of the person selling the Vehicle / Recreational item, it could have been purchased with higher mileage / hours then what's displayed or some other bogus situation and re-sold to you. Beware of Merchandise, Vehicles, etc. priced too low, unseen or hard ship stories it could be a scam. If it sounds too good to be true it usually is.
If and when a deposit is required meet at the Agent or Broker's office for the transaction, not a coffee shop or vacant property.
If you're Purchasing or Selling a Property or Home beware of the Phishing email scams, phone calls or text messages from Title
Companies, Appraisers, Banks or other types of related institutions asking for information or wiring money instructions.
Before replying always contact your Agent, Broker and Title Company on record to confirm it's real,
including the day, time and transaction instructions, not the information sent to you, it can look and sound authentic, but be fake.
If it's fake once the transaction is complete your money will be gone and you will probably never see the money again.
You should ask to see a driver's license or identification, and write the information down; everyone has a camera phone take a photo of the person, information, including the vehicle tag number of the person(s) showing you the rental or property or any other type of Merchandise or Vehicle transaction.
Never give out Personal Information,
Banking, Direct Deposit Information and Social Security Number, etc. Beware of Merchandise, Vehicles, etc. priced too low, unseen or hard ship stories it could be a scam. If it sounds too good to be true it usually is. Always deal with people in a public place during day light hours if possible, with other people in the area, possibly at your local Police Department, if you feel unsafe Leave Immediately, and if it feels like a scam contact your local Police Department ASAP and report the information.
